This is a fully supported driver release for Matrox Parhelia 128MB and 256MB boards only.
- This driver release is WHQL certified for Windows XP and Windows 2000.
- The Matrox Reef demo will not work in conjunction with this driver.

- Please uninstall your current drivers using Microsoft Add/Remove Programs before installing the new drivers. Do not uninstall your current drivers if you have Matrox RT2500, Matrox DigiSuite or Matrox Imaging products installed in your system.

This download contains DirectX 8.1b plus some DirectPlay fixes related to performance and connectivity issues exhibited with some online multiplayer game titles has been identified as being fixed with DirectX 8.2. This version of DirectX can replace all previous released versions of DirectX.
I will not supply any links to Microsoft DirectX 9 as at the moment even though it has been released as a final, there are far too many significant bugs which I found to make a lot of systems crash, or just plainly fail, most noticably I found that most of the fixes that had been done with RC2(which worked flawlessly) have not been incorporated into the Final, the biggest offender being DirectPlay which sends the system into a complete and unrecoverable Loop,

Following the renaming of MadOnion to Futuremark, there have been a number of departures from the MO boards, and subsequently a number of arrivals, may I say to the members that have left, you will be missed, and to the members that have joined...Welcome! |
